Why does the Pyronix XDL12TT-WE keep alarming when in direct sunlight?

The Pyronix XDL12TT-WE has 2 PIR sensors as well as a microwave
sensor. I thought that this would filter out sunlight issues but
goes off constantly throughout the morning on a sunny day.
Its looks obvious that this is being triggered purely based
on the PIR's as the sun should not interfere with the microwave
detection. I am not able to point the sensor in any other
direction. Is there any way to prevent false alerts when there are
definitely no intruders, just the sun?

that can experience false alarms when exposed to direct sunlight
due to a combination of factors, including:
Overheating of the PIR sensor: Direct sunlight can cause the
passive infrared (PIR) sensor to heat up, potentially reducing its
ability to distinguish between normal environmental changes and
genuine motion.
Reflected Infrared (IR) radiation: Sunlight reflecting off
surfaces can create IR "noise," confusing the detector's PIR
sensors and triggering false alarms.
Microwave sensor interference: The microwave sensor in the
dual-technology detector may also become more sensitive in higher
temperatures or detect unexpected movement caused by heat waves in
the air.
Poor installation angle or placement: If the detector is not
installed at the recommended height and angle, sunlight may
directly hit the lens, increasing the likelihood of false
alarms.
Solutions to Reduce False Alarms
Here are steps to mitigate the issue:
Proper Placement:
Install the detector in a shaded area where direct sunlight
does not hit the lens or housing.
Avoid south-facing placements in direct sunlight during peak
hours.
Adjust Sensitivity Settings:
Reduce the sensitivity of the PIR sensor if sunlight exposure
is unavoidable.
Use the settings to balance the sensitivity of the PIR and
microwave technologies.
Ensure Correct Mounting Height and Angle:
Follow the manufacturer’s installation guide, typically
suggesting a height of 2.4m for the XDL12TT-WE.
Slightly angle the detector downward to prevent sunlight from
directly entering the lens.
Use Sunshields or External Covers:
